That's the same price I paid for a $120GB....good lord

That's why I jumped on the MW2 Elite. I knew it was going to be expensive. For a $100 extra more, you get an extra controller, MW2 and a 250GB HD.

Solid catch too! I want one of those 250GB asap. The downside, Microsoft DOES NOT make a transfer kit for 120 to 250GB. It was only made for the 20 to 120 :(

Edit: NEVERMIND!! IT DOES WORK! As long as you have the update disc!

You can do it all online now. It's how I did it and depending on your internet connection speed, it could actually be faster than the cable.

Sorry but I can't help but say what a complete rip off! You can buy 1Tb {1000Gb} hard drives for $99 and 250's are like $49 these days. What the frick is so special about these drives that MS feels the need to upcharge $110? I'd never waste my money on this.

EDIT: Ok I did not know these were notebook hard drives. It's still pretty bad, though, because right now I can find multiple 250Gb notebook drives for $59.99... :-\

I know, we agree strongly. Yet it's the way these things are designed sadly :(
