6 people murdered over an Xbox!!

I know this is a little gruesome and maybe a little inappropriate but it is in the news so I figured I'd share the link.....This just goes to show that some people really are worthless, my opinion, give this guy the death penalty and get him off this earth, he does not deserve to breathe the same air as you and I....
 
I read it but i have a few questions, did the one guy just kill 6 people that he didn't know? Or was it the people who stole it?
 
Ya, I don't know if it was just over an Xbox. I mean, he might have known them beforehand, or there might have been some kind of feud going on or something. Either way, ruthless people...
 
not just ruthless..... they are evil. plain and simple.

unfortunately..... we'll never know the details.... but there are idiots in this world like that.

Ok ya he was a psycho to do it, i mean i wouldn't kill some1 over something like that. But still i don't think the death penilty would be ok for him...~don't belive in it sorry~ just let him rot for the rest of his life in jail

Yeah i know, like some of the crimes in the past, i think one was kill her children because they wouldn't stop crying. (edit it out if you dont like it)

A 17 yr old boy over here in england killed his 14 yr old friend. Hmm what was it....hmm...oh ya because he was playing Hitman or something like that. Well they blaimed the game for it. I mean bloody hell wat is wrong with ppl, i don't think there happy unless there trying to blaime these sort of thing of either video games or movies. I mean its got nothing to do with the games or movies, the kid must have been psycho to want to do it anyway.

Sorry it just makes me really mad.......AAAAAAHHHH
 
Well I know that the game's not primarily to blame, but I don't really like those kind of games much anyway. Realistic killing games like Hitman and Manhunt. GTA's sort of ok because it's more arcade and over the top, but Hitman and especially Manhunt are a bit too realistic for my tastes. Whilst games themselves are never really to blame for incidents like those, I think maybe there should be more of a "limit" on how real and violent games should be.
 
Some of the games I play are violent games, but I'm not going on a killing spree anytime soon. Because for something like that to happen, as Aya said, you have to be psychotic to begin with.
 
well if a kid is brought up on doom, hitman, and GTA and one kid never saw a video game in his life.....dont you think the one playing violent video games all his life will be more aggressive?

i think its the parents responsibility to note when their child is ready to play these games.

im not saying that playing something like doom3 will get you off worshiping the devil and going on killing sprees, but 14 years old is a little young to be playing violent video games over a 17 year olds house....i know video games cant do this alone, many other things come into play but video games have more of an impact on us than we know it.

pfffttt crazy people, im out to play doom3 :lol
 
I dunno, I think if you're a teenager you should be able to handle most violent videogames. Manhunt may be an exception, but even Hitman and GTA I don't think are very morbid. I think it's almost sad how games that show terribly graphic violence are the ones that sell the most, and that that's what a lot of people want to do in videogames, but if anything I think it's more a reflection of our society than in influence of it. Like that old saying, does art reflect life, or does life reflect art?
 
Acutally now the names have been brought up i think the kid was playing ManHunt not Hitman.

Either way neither of them shoud have been playing it, seeing its an 18 game. ~Not that i would normally care much for it~ I don't like these sort of games much anyway, my limits prob GTA Series

The perants of the 14 tried to get violent games banned, but it won't work like prob many other ppl have tried. Doom 3 was acutally one of the ones on the list along with, gta, manhunt and hitman plus many more

Yea your right aya-kun, the death penalty is the easy way out for somebody like that, let him rot!! We don't even have the death penalty here in Minnesota; debatable, but not here.....


P.S Did you guys read the link though?, it wasn't actually this guy who killed the 6 poeple, he hired 4 younger guys to do it, but yea, in my book he is the most guilty, well maybe not, ah jeez let em' all rot for all I care....
 
I'd say that's almost worse. At least if you had some motive, however stupid, then you had a reason to do it. These other 4 guys just did it out of sheer greed, they never had any problem with the people they so brutally slaughtered...
 
Did the article say whether or not the murdered people actually had the Xbox and clothes? If they did, a simple lawsuit would have been so much easier. Now he won't be playing an Xbox for a long time.
