Almost out for the Summer

College bites my batteries. I can't wait to get out. Just a couple more weeks. Then I'll be posting again over the summer most likely. How's everyone been? Anyone else getting out soon?
 
I think Ive got around 10 days, but I dont get Summer off this year :'( I have to write a research paper by the start of 8th grade.
 
I've got until May 21st here. Then it's going to be hectic because we're moving (sigh). But then again, there won't be any more school...hoo rah!
 
Summer now just means I go from full time school to full time work. I prefer the latter.

Nice avatar Jack. I had that badboy for a couple years when I first came here. That's the only other avatar I've ever used here. Made me think for a second I made that post... :lol
 
Yeah I kinda did a double take there too...

School's out, now I can go back to making money so I can spend it all over again come fall semester.

Well, I decided to change it up a bit. Jack had been up there for over a year, lol.

What kind of job do you have, stealth?
 
I have a month left then either I get a good job, or it's manual labor all summer :-\. It will be tough hopefully a store hires me haha.
 
I got about a month to go for me. I am trying to get a job at a mom and pop video game shop that was just built across from my school, how I would love that for a summer job.

So? Even if it's long, it probably isn't more than 20 hours worth of work.
 
No school for me. I haven't been in school for almost seven years. I don't plan on going back anytime soon. I've had a nice long break and I start a new job on the 15th so my summer will be spent at work, but I'm fine with that.

Yeah, depending on how fast you research. It definitely isn't a three month thing, RJ. You could probably finish the whole thing the first week of the summer if you really wanted to. And even then, you would only have to work on it a couple hours a day for that week.
 
I haven't seen the inside of a school since June of 1997. Although sometimes I wish I could go back just to freshen up on automotive stuff.
 
I finished my last final on Monday, and start back to work full time next Monday. Go figure... I don't get much of a break.

I dont get 3 months >_> I do 2 days this week, 3 days next week, and who knoes when we'll finish up. Plus, I start school before most people becuz my mom deosnt want me to get as far behind as we got this year. But your right about it being less than 20 hours. I think its supposed to be 6-7 pages. But I've got church all day every Sunday, co-op and music lessons from 8am-5pm every monday, Tuesday I have church in the afternoon, but the rest of the summer tuesdays are mostlt packed with random stuff, tennis practice on wednesdays from 8-9am and church from 4-9 pm, thursdays I rarely have something to do, but the library here is closed on Thursdays, Fridays I will most likely be out of town with the rest of the family, Saturday I have missionwork from 5-11 am and church 1-9pm. And to top it off, rarely does my parents or even older siblings have time to drive me to the library. Most the time I have to call someone I know from church to take me to wherever mission work is, and the most of the rest of the time I walk to church. So... im booked. Im sure I'll find someway to do it, like say... the internet? ::) Maybe if my Dad didnt hog the computer and our other one was workin probably...
