I know it's a weird one,but a truthful and funny one.
It was some video game show my brother watches.A guy climbs to the top of a 10 ft. step ladder and drops 1 Gamecube,then 1 PS2, and then an X-BOX to see which one could still work after 3 drops. (sounds like Dave Letterman type stunt.)

Can anyone guess which won?

Hint:All still worked after 2 drops.
 
no way the ps2 still worked. I'd guess gamecube, there's just a lot more to break in a cd tray that ejects via motor vs. the manuel push top down get disk out yourself.
 
PS2 no
Xbox no way
GameCube, nope.

Why do I know this? We've done it at work before :lol

GameCube is built like a Dreamcast. It falls apart easily for being built like sandwich layers.

Xbox drive is not stable and PS2 is the easiest/fragile of the three.
 
If they all still managed to work after that, I would call it an anomaly for sure. Do it a few more times (with new consoles) and see if they all still hold up.

I remember them doing something like this on X-play. The Gamecube survived every time they did it, while the others were just destroyed.

My PS2 almost took the plunge, but the power cord saved it. My Cube got pulled off a shelf and hit the floor. It still works.
 
my gamecube has been dropped a few times...I think perhaps once down some stirs even (not by me, by my ex) but it still works great.

sometimes I think ps2's quit working just from thinking about getting dropped lol. My current ps2 works fine tho.
