Anyone tried Realm of the Mad God

Its a free "bullet hell" mmo I downloaded off of steam. It's indie, graphics are reminiscant of gauntlet on the nintendo but its amazingly fun. Anyone with a steam account should try this game out. Theres not much in game instruction but its extremely simple and one of those games you can play for 10 minutes or 2 hours.

I really like it because its an MMO for loners. Theres no real party system, loot is free for all, and experience is gained by proximity. When you die that character and everything he was carrying is just gone, and you start over at level 1, but the level cap is at 20 and it doesn't take long to reach. Fantastic game especially for the price.

Yeah that happens a lot for me with steam, there should be a rental option! Neverwinter nights 2, Heroes of might and magic, Magicka, Bulletstorm, secton 8, alpha protocol, I can really keep going with the list of games in my steam library that never gets played........ at least this one was free.

My steam library has like ...a ridiculous amount of games i've bought. I'll play them all eventually. But alot of them are like eh...

no doubt! Steam holiday sale plus the buying "single serve" games for the big pile of coal contest and my library pack on some bloat. I've gotten smarter about buying from steam though, wait on games like skyrim, portal 2, deus ex, etc. until they get a few months on them and get them at least half off, it helps the purse. It takes some discipline though, but once you're a few months behind you're still getting games new to you a lot cheaper than normal. The only problem are those pesky multiplayer games, if you follow that mind set most everyone has already lost interest. If you can get one or two people on your friends list doing the same thing coop games work well too. By the time I ran through dead island (19.99) deus ex was on sale (19.99), then saints row the third got really cheap. Right there is 100 saved that could go towards decent stuff later!
