Will the Sony Move and the Microsoft Kinect be treated as “add-ons?” To keep everything in perspective, the Wii controller is the standard pack-in. Everyone who has purchased the system, has one. Where as, the Move and Kinect, a consumer, has to be convinced to purchase the item. In the past an add-on usually met an untimely death at the hands of the game developers. They were not well received. Developers focused on the original basic package when it came to their games. Any add-on mostly ended up with a hand full of games.
Do you think the game industry is willing to take the risk with the Move and Kinect?
Or will the Move and Kinect take their place along beside the NES Glove, N64 DD, NES Robot, SNES Super Scope, the Sega Menacer, ..........
