Whether the heart of the action revolves around competition or co-operation, this game ceases to be one of several choices for avoiding boredom when getting together with friends, and instead becomes the reason to get together with friends. Giving players the option to play both online and offline, and utterly destroying the previous benchmarks used to determine a decent amount of “replay value,” this game turns interest into obsession, and obsession into unbridled, addictive, fanaticism. The winner of this award must provide the backbone, and venue, of a socially, persistent, interactive, and unmatched, experience.

Little Big Planet gets my vote for best Multiplayer game. From the level designs to the community generated levels, it's one of the best well rounded games for a get together.

Although I would have chosen LittleBigPlanet, Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds had great online play built form the start. With the recently added in game voice chat, tons of downloads that have been spread throughout the year so far, and tournament, it is an interesting and amazing game that will appeal to all people. It doesnt feature any lag and doesnt propitiate itself on the ability for games to generate great community levels. LBP will rise in the new year with more themed packs and as the number of users grow it will become a mini network on its own.

Yeah, definitely LittleBigPlanet. All of my friends want to play it whenever they come over....no other game has ever done that for me, so LBP HAS to have my vote.
