Best TV for Games

I've been shopping around for a HD Plasma screen tv to run my PS3 and 360, and I am not too sure on which one I should buy. I have a limited budget but I want one that will last me a long time and when things are upgraded, Im not left behind.

What are ya'lls suggestions?

If you're going plasma, go Pioneer. The majority of all other plasma TV's already use Pioneer's plasma technology. I don't know what you're budget is, so I can't recommend a specific one.

42" is where 1080P actually takes affect otherwise go for a HDTV that is 720P if it is lower than 42". If I would suggest a TV I would say a 42' Sony Bravia. It's a bit more than your budget but if you save for a couple more weeks it will be well worth it.

How much more is a 42 foot TV?

Some parameters would be nice as, at this point, I think this is too general to give a good answer.

Well a 42 foot TV would be massive. A 42 inch Bravia would cost you $1,600+
You put 42', instead of 42" once. XD

I just bought last a 61 inch 1080p Samsung DLP TV that I hooked my PS3 to. Then, last month, I went and bought a 42 inch Vizio 1080p LCD TV for my 360. Both work great and have really nice pictures on them. The Vizio costs about $999.99. I used the BJ's Web-Site to get a price match from Circuit City and saved a whopping extra $20.00. The Samsung is a little more pricey and over $2,000.

I really want to pick up about a 50in. I found a few at Walmart for about 1100 but I didn't like the Contrast Ratio or the Resolution size. The one I want costs closer to 1600. I might go to Fry's electronics and see if they have another special going on. Screw 720, I want 1024 at least.

In my opinion, anything non-HD will do. :lol I just can't get over the lag.

Anyway, I wish you luck in finding a well-suited TV for your gaming needs. :)
