there's been more inside the Wii library that meets the eye
ok so besides the ones already mentioned above i am going to mention a few more first party games that i own and enjoyed (though i have to re-state that Radiant Dawn is a love letter for hardcore fire emblem fans who know the ropes of fire emblem)
-Mario kart Wii = great on-line service and the addiction of mario kart games.
-super paper mario = the fusion of platforming and action RPG, a game with a great charm for its story and gameplay
-warioland shake it= often overlooked but this game is pure warioland madness at its finest
-warioware smooth moves= wacky, crazy, random and a heck lot better than average minigame games out there
and a few ones that were announced that grabbed my attention
- wii sport resort (mostly because of wii motion plus...after that i am probably going to sell the game just like wii play xD)
- Trace memory R: loved the first one for DS and i cannot wait for the second one
- captain rainbow: as weird as it sounds (and it might not even come to america) it looks like it could be a fun game (plus is something new)
- Dynamic Slash: it was recently announced...but not much info about it, just a very brief video of a woman slashing giants with a sword and defending herself with a shield
- punch out wii: come on how could someone forget about this one XD
- Sin & Punishment 2: if it is at least half as good as the original then it will be a great game because the first sin and punishment was an amazing on-rails third person shooter, with a weird storyline.
also remember that nintendo is not taking 4 or 5 years for a zelda game... they released phantom hourglass in 2007 and now they will release spirit tracks this year (hopefully).. yes i know its a DS game but nintendo has to take care of the DS now more than ever because of the recent release of DSi.
plus there is a bunch of great 3rd party games out there for the wii, madworld was released recently and that game kicks butt
