Blue Dragon discussion

Hehe I remember playing the demo (It was fun IMO) in the boss fights i just started to laugh cause of the music though I'm a big fan of Japanese RPG's if I had a 360 I'd definitely buy it.

Now it doesn't seem as bad. I guess it's another love/hate game.

Yeah, I'm a collector of RPG's pretty much as well so I'll definitely pick this up. Those other reviews are adding to the excitement as well. The good reviews outweigh the bad ones. :)

They seemed to like the battle system but hate the story (or lack thereof). I guess I might be able to deal with that. Most people say the Tales games don't have good stories either (I beg to differ) but the battle system is too fun not to keep playing. :) I will still give Blue Dragon a try once I have a chance.

Yeah, Tales of Symphonia was one of my favorite stories in a video game. If the battles in Blue Dragon are as addicting as in ToS though, I'll definitely be pleased.

Yeah it comes out tomorrow...I'm sorry to say, but I won't have the money for it. I'll have to get it soon though. :-\

Good, don't waste your money on Blue Poop! Buy Eternal Sonata!!!

Looking for more challenge in Blue Dragon? Microsoft released a free update for the game today that includes two bumped-up difficulty modes.

The download, available now on the Xbox Live Marketplace, includes the modes Hard Game, which lets you play at a difficulty level twice as high as the original, and Impossible Game, described as "the ultimate in difficulty, meant to be played starting at level 50 or higher." A third option contained in the update, called Game Plus, lets players start over using a saved game from near the end of the story.

It's a free download.

Does anyone know what the little star icon that appears on the right of the status screen means?

Thank you for viewing. :)
