Borderland DLC already announced!

DLC Already!?!? The game isn't out yet..and that DLC will be ready by the end of the year and I swear this will be...OMG *MEGA BEING ATTACKED BY ZOMBIES*!!!

The first DLC for Borderlands will be called: ::D "ZOMBIE ISLAND OF DR. NED" ::D

It's "Ned"...not "Zed" lol

I'm honestly worried for this game. I love Gearbox, and I love the trailers for this game... but I really do worry that it's not going to be as good as I myself have hyped it up to be for myself.

Either that, or it will be quickly overshadowed by Modern Warfare 2 next month. Either way, a sad end for this game. :( However, if it's the latter, I can at least enjoy it myself -- it doesn't have to be a popular game for me to be able to enjoy it!

It's amazingly good. I just picked up the PS3 edition on Friday, it's pretty much what I had in mind. Tons of guns + Fallout 3 + Halo style co-op + talent tree = Borderlands.

Gearbox Software has officially announced and detailed the third and "largest" helping of downloadable content for its popular shooter RPG Borderlands, the level cap raisin' "Secret Armory of General Knoxx."

Gearbox and 2K promise "brutal, never-before-seen enemies in a huge new environment complete with tons of brand new missions" as well as "entirely new weapons and items" in The Secret Armory of General Knoxx. The next Borderlands expansion will, as previously promised, also raise the level limit from 50 to... a number larger than 50.

The Secret Armory of General Knoxx appears to be tailored to challenge players "from around level 34 to level 50" according to Gearbox's announcement.

The developer did not date or price the expansion, which is due for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. But it did provide two screen shots! Here's the second.

Borderlands fans rejoice! The Secret Armory of General Knoxx is coming out TOMORROW! The PS3 DLC will be ready this Thursday! $10 to download. Level cap will be raised from 50 to 61!

Oddly, I was just sussing out some games that had a Special ed. version with all DLC's on the, and I wondered when a Borderlands one would appear.
Well, this answers that question. Now I know of yet another game of of interest in which to trade my old version for one with the DLC content... though, Borderlands isn't at the top of my listings, I will admit.
