honestly i don't see how it gets "worse and worse" this episode felt so old school to me, when everything was war tactics and surprises during battle, and the death of important characters, but you can see that Lelouch is crumbling emotionally, he showed many signs of regret (and hey we got a hint about suzaku's decision to follow lelouch...apparently a promise or something of the sort)... but again if you don't like it you might as well stop watching, because seriously i know they don't make some stuff obvious, you gotta think about them >_> that's the highlight of the series IMO it always makes you think.
 
Oh after further review of episode 21 of the second season I have come to the conclusion of this:

C.C. never followed Charles and Marrianne's plan to use C.C. and V.V. as tools of the Ragnarok system. The plan began developing after Marrianne's "death". Meaning, C.C. never followed Marrianne in contradiction to her wish of dying.
 
Tomorrow's the last episode. It may have slipped up a bit recently, but it's still sad to say goodbye to such an amazing show. At least it didn't overstay its welcome.
 
i have watched countless of Anime before in my life but this is the only one that actually makes me sad to see it end.
 
I almost have tears in my eyes just at the thought that today is the final episode....

Since Cherry has only watched Code Geass as far as Anime goes may I suggest Serial Experiment LAIN for your viewing pleasure?
 
Apparently, Code Geass R2 was supposed to get the time slot that Gundam 00 had for it's first season. But, there was a change in plans and they had to rush development for the latter half of R2. Add that with the leaving of the director and we have why Cherry didn't feel that some of the episodes were up to snuff and why there won't be a third season.
 
Sorry for the triple post but, I just have to say this.

The final episode was awesome. I have never felt this sad in my life because of an anime ended. When:
Suzaku killed Lelouch and Nunally cried over it I got so chucked up about it that I shed a few tears.

Code Geass shall forever be in my top favorite animes of all time.

TAKE THAT CHERRY XD, LELOUCH WAS ALWAYS THE GOOD GUY AND SUZAKU DID HAVE A REASON TO JOIN HIM XD....but honestly i cried when the sword went through his heart, but this is the best ending the series could have, honestly light's death was pathetic but lelouch's death was heroic ALL HAIL LELOUCH, ALL HAIL CODE GEASS

Just caught up in the series and saw it. Powerful stuff....never before has an anime made me shed as many tears as I did seeing Elfen Lied.

It's pretty good, actually. The first 5 chapters are up and it gives off some interesting thoughts. Zero looks amazing in this version. More muscle maybe? XD

yeah it happened to me too.... i showed one of my friends the first 4 discs of the series in english and as he bombarded me with questions about the future of the characters i had to bite my lips just to not spoil him anything
