I hadn't heard of this before. Hopefully they will support them in the future. Just of curiousity, which kind of Mac do you have (eMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro, etc). I have a friend that has a MacBook, it must be on an Intel processor, because she could use Steam on it just fine.

Ah, weak! :( Hopefully an update patch can fix that, I'll talk with Hylian7 and see if he knows anything.

PowerPC processors aren't even supported by Apple anymore. Steam on PPC Macs won't ever happen unfortunately. And even if they wanted to, the last PPC Macs (circa 2005) won't be able to run many games, if any.

That explains a lot. :(

Yeah, PowerPCs were powerful for their time but once Intel began making dual-core processors, they left PPC in the dust. So Apple switched since Motorola couldn't catch up anymore to Intel.

Have a powerbook G4. Plays WoW a hella lot better than my desktop does, but it's broke and won't stay on for more than an hour or two. Got it for free though so can't complain. It was dropped down a staircase and the case is all dented and busted in.

Yeah, the last G4's were made in 2003. So it's around 7-9 years old! Pretty darn good for a G4 to be able to handle WoW still.

My desktop is older than that even, I ran windows 98 on this thing at one point and I don't have the money to upgrade any parts on it. I think the only part that I put in it once I put XP on it was a "new" video card. GeForce FX 5500

Am kinda scared for when Cata comes out that they'll bump up the requirements too much >.<
