Disgaea 2

It's kind of hard to say too, seeing as it's being published by a different company this time around.

The storys in 1 and 2 aren't directly related, so you should be fine if you get 2 first. If you get into the game enough it should probably give you at least 100 hours of gameplay.
 
Well I just dropped $50 on this game so we'll see how it goes. If it sucks I'm blaming you, Sartori  :lol jk   I know i'll probably like it, havent played it yet.

But if I dont like it, then I'll trade it in and have enough for when FFXII comes out   :)
 
If you're gonna get one... get the 2nd one they are the same price anyway...

Neverwinter Nights: diamond - PC - $20

and my brother got Ghost recon 2 for Xbox and LotR 3rd Age for ps2 which is the biggest FFX rip off ever

Yeah I know, you can't find it anywhere here. :lol I looked around a little bit after I asked my friends about it, but they said it was hard enough for them to get a hold of it when it was released. :-\
 
Man I love this game, even though I suck at strategy games... it's very enjoyable

Well, the first time around it was published by Atlus, yes, but the core development company was Nippon Ichi, so I don't really see what you mean.. :)
 
This game is SWEET! I've been playing it pretty much nonstop for the past week or so... I hihgly recommend you guys but this before they're all gone...
 
Is it hard to follow or is it not a true sequel? I prefer true sequels but since I can't play the first, I'd more than welcome a seperate story.

Just because it's a change, they probably have a better idea of how it's doing here so they might not cut it off like they did with the first one.

Well I'm still playing the game and loving it, though I haven't had much time to play it. I've got around 40+ hours from getting to the end of the game, and now just trying to level up some of the better equipment so I can take out a few of the side bosses and the extra stages. It could last quite a while.
 
I'm in Chapter 10 right now and I've been playing the hell outta this game, how long is it?
 
It took me around 20 hours for the main story. Clould probably take off a few hours though since I screwed around a lot during that time.
 
Duse it took me 30 hours and i went straight thru - although i leave my Ps2 running a lot with the game on when I leave... but that sounds really fast

P.S. how do you get Axel in your party?
 
So this is my new favorite RPG...I'm a good 30 hours or so into it but I've been tryin to do a lil of everything....item worlder, dark council, side quests...I love it.
 
Same here... I started over so I could get Adell good with his fists this time, I had him with a sword last time and he was pretty strong...

Adell, Yukimaru, and Tink were pretty strong, so was Taro - Hanako was worthless and so was Etna til later I got her good enough to be in my 10 spot
