yes, im no psychologist (nor do i play one on TV) but having a small break in the day (you know games that "all they do is dull our minds") is beneficial to the learning process. 30-45mins after school is a good amount...then do homework, then as a reward, play some games till bedtime!! (11pm)

I agree with Phoenix.

My theory, is a student's mind needs an escape for a little bit to get their mind off of the tedious work

Surgeons who play video games have better dexterity resulting in faster surgery with fewer errors.

Yes, studies have been done on this. I may actually take the time to look up those studies, but it will have to be later, as I have not gotten in my gaming time today.

Gamers are better people. :P

Yeah i don't see anything wrong with it.

Saying a kid can't game on week days is as silly as saying a kid can't watch a movie or TV or can't listen to music, Video games are just another form of entertainment to just sit back relax and enjoy but can even sometimes improve the mind in someways.

I think playing games should be a reward for the student for if they complete all of their assignments for the next day.
