Maybe some added games or something like that? I think that'd be kinda cool and add to the overall interactiveness of the site. Other than that, I don't think there's anything that could be done to help. I've been to a few other forums but they're nothing like this one.
 
I think it is a miracle that this forum is so clean and well mannered

not really much I can say because I know the forum trys to keep it simple for the 56k users so you can't really add any special effects

just to spark some ideas, how about a "adopt a video game sprite", and it is displayed in your profile
I've seen it be done, but not often
 
I will take those suggestions in and see if there is something we can do to this place in that manner.... we will have an overall theme for the forums once we get to this new version. I am not going to start it until then because we'll have to redo it :lol

Bump... anyone have more opinions, suggestions, things they like (and do want changed), etc?

a music forum or category

and i could mod it maybe :lol jk but seriously there needs to be a music category
 
From the little I have seen, I think you are doing a fine job here. To be honest, message boards in general, are pretty much all the same. It seems to me that the members are what makes the forum enjoyable. But if you are looking for something unique, I've always thought a "jukebox" option for forums would be really cool. I've also run across a site that had Yahoo bots that delivered news and entertainment updates automatically. I thought that was very interesting. Also, on the topic of bots, an automated bot that replies to posters can be fun as well. Those are some ideas that I can think of now :D
 
I agree wth Gorlliaz, a music/movie section would be cool. But everything seems to be going fine with these forums, best ones I've been to so far. I was on a board the other day and I used this same name and everyone just started flaming me for no reason. Oh well//

I've only been with this site for about a month. A going from the other sites I've been on this is best by far!  :D
 
a jukebox is probably a no go. I want to get online games on this site... but I have to find someone that will create originals for the site.

as for a movies section, wouldn't that be best suited in gen disc?

Any other suggestions?>
