Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime (Re-discovering an underdog title.)

This particular game went unnoticed when released back in 2006. As a Dragon Quest spin-off, it's brilliant. If you love Zelda and Kirby blended into one, then you'll love this game. I just defeated the first boss and I must admit this game is pretty adorable, addictive, and downright fun.

You play as Rocket, the slime! His buddies and the entire kingdom has been attacked by the Plobs! Your mission is to save your buddies and the entire population of Rocket's kingdom it seems! Don't worry, this little slime can pack a punch of an adventure! Using attacks similar to Link and Kirby; he can bash, jump, and carry his enemies to get the job done!

I missed out on this game years ago, so it was nice to finally come back to it, and I'm happy that I did. Any reflections of what this game was like for you?

to be honest i was interested in this game when i heard of it.... but i think it came out in the wrong time since i remember i bought other games that were a bit more important for me

This one always looked interesting, but never picked it up. It's only $15 new now, though, so maybe I will. I've always been interested in the other, too, Dragon Quest Monsters:Joker.
