Dreaming of the Future Games

Wow this might be your only thread with a point...

I dont see that far of an advancement really... otherwise they would lose what makes them so great. Just graphics getting better and motion controls getting more in depth

In a lot of games the graphics are hard to imagine much better than they currently are. Then again I remember NES looking amazing next to the Atari 2600. :D As far as motion control, yes, it can stand to have a lot of fine-tuning done, however it would then become exclusionary to people who have limited mobility and thus it may not go as far as you want it to. How far-removed is the sword-fighting in Zelda from actually using a sword? A huge amount! Because games are meant to be accessible to a wider range of people, so you don't necessarily need to have the skill to play a game that emulated that skill.

I'm pretty happy with games how they are now, actually. There's way more games out that I want to play than I'll actually ever have the time or resources to do so.

In the future, if games could be cheaper, that would be the best thing ever as far as I am concerned. :lol

I wanna walk out of my room with half of my teeth missing just by popping in the new NHL game.
And have them grow back due to intense awesomeness exposure from the console.

No brother we are far from being in the matrix however it almost made me laugh, But yes the discs and consoles you are looking at are real, but somehow in the last 1000 years mankind has lost the very real truth of the magna physical world around them as well as their dreams, Im trying to relate to you guysd because i no longer have a game sytem to play on and im trying to learn how much magna physical life could actually help us play games across great distances or even learn to send messages that far in hopes of one day actually helping someone through this

You can't spell or use the proper words, you have no clue what you are talking about, you're just tying(and failing) to 'impress' us by looking deep or using big words(which you can't even use in the right place), and it's failing, majorly.
