Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is legal as long as you don't try to make a profit with it.

Yea and give credit to the copyright as well.

But, I do have some unlicensed stuff from a Hard Rock band that do their music on a video game esc scale if you would like to give them a try.

Even if it's legal to use licensed music I'd still rather use something from the community or of our own creation. I just thought some of you out there might dabble in some music mixing or what have you, so I figured it might be a neat idea to promote some poor, starving artist. :lol

Creepindeth and Mastermario joined me on this episode where we discussed industry news, EGA threads, and took up several member questions. It was recorded on 03/06/08 and the total runtime is just under 55 minutes. In the future turnover will occur within a day. Currently we're just using rapidshare to distribute the podcast, but the download only takes about 1 to 2 minutes if you have high speed internet. There is no way to stream it yet, but that may change as time goes on. So download it, listen to it, tell us what you think, and keep posting up questions and suggestions you have for it.

For some reason (possibly because I uploaded the file) I could only run the downloaded file in Windows Media Player (the original worked in iTunes), but my roommate was able to download it and play it in iTunes without any difficulty. So give it a shot, and if you experience some technical difficulties downloading it and/or listening to it, PM me and I'll look into it.

Yeah, that was a good podcast.

But just a minor error, Take Two wasn't involved with Mass Effect, and Jack Thompson actually criticized Fox News when they did that ridiculous segment on it.

Nice Podcast.

For the next podcast care to comment on Activision looking into Blizzard's developers into making a Call of Duty MMO. Also what do you think of the Guitar Hero Air Guitar Kit.

Ok guys, since the next podcast is going to be pretty much about SSBB, what kind of questions do you want us to answer about that? I imagine you'll want to know who our mains are, but what are some other things you want to know about?

What characters would you like to have had been added.
Which in your opinion is better Melee or Brawl?
Any disappointment for you?

There are some off the top of my head...

Which characters were the biggest surprises for you?
Are your favorite characters to play as different than the ones you're the best at?
Yoshi is the best character isn't he.  :D

Lol... I tried?  *shrug*

Ok, I used my student webspace at Purdue to create an extremly simple/lame alternate (and hopefully temporary) podcast site, and I hope to keep it up to date. I don't know how much space I have, so I'll probably only keep a few at a time, but we'll see what happens. Here you go, and let me know if there are problems.

You can either download it or stream it off the page (I think).

Ah okay, got that, but I thought it was like a voice chat program. My bad, I was confused, but I understand what you mean.

That was a fantastic show guys, excellent job. I'll be sure to get some questions in there for the next one :)

Here's some questions for the next show I would like to offer for the SSBB.

1. Which characters do you feel were unnecessary to the character roster?

2. Who has been improved, overpowered, and weakened in your opinion of the Veterans of Smash Bros.?

3. Coolest new stage you have seen so far? My personal newest stage is "Luigi's Mansion", simply because hearing the Remastered orchestrated version of the game's main theme song is pure heaven.

4. Do you feel that "masterpiece" demos were utterly pointless since they were timed demos that offered no bonuses for the main game?

5. Was the wait worth it? Was the hype of it all totally worth it?

6. Favorite New Character?

7. Does it put Melee to shame? Does it make you not want to go back to Melee so to speak?

8. Don't you love how much Nostaglia they have crammed into this game? It's sickening, but so utterly brilliant! When I heard the temple theme from Super Mario Land, I nearly had a flashback to June 23rd, 1990 when I first purchased my Nintendo GameBoy!

and last but not least, I just want one of you guys to proclaim the following for me, but you have to say it right. Before the show ends of course...

"MEEGGGGGAAAAA MEEEEEEEEGG! YEAAAHHHH BOOIIIII!!!!!!" (In the style of rap artist Flavor Flav).

If you say it right, I'll give you a free Virtual Console game of your choice via Gift Send on Wii ;)

P.S. That is NO Joke, the Mayor of The Cheese People does not kid around when it comes to giving gifts to his friends and loved ones!
