Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - 11/11/2011

Re: lets talk skyrim...

I finally have a short break from school and work this next week.

Even with a quarter final last week, I started playin' Skyrim and have put a ton of hours into it already. The game is pretty addicting since there are so many things to do!

So, I have put a ton of hours into Skyrim in the last two weeks. I have a lvl 40 somethin' Imperial specializing in archery, sneaking, lockpicking, and blacksmithing... The game is SO time consuming!!

Re: lets talk skyrim...

I definitely dumped 70+ hours into it and beat it and then moved on for a bit, but I keep finding myself picking it back up again when I have a lot of time on my hands. It's absolutely my favorite thing to do when I'm sick and just feel like sitting all day.

That was pretty much my situation. I had a sorta spring break (I was off work, but still had school), then had a sinus infection the following week. That left a lot of time of being home.

I am resurrecting this thread... I was late to the Skyrim party, but played the hell out of the base game and the Dragonborn expansion.

I think I have done every major questline in both at this point. After making some skills legendary status, I have my character up to level 88.

Looking at the Dawnguard expansion, I am wondering if it is worth getting.

Zidart, you had a problem with too many dragon carcasses around the college too?

I got to the point where I can one-shot some dragons with my legendary level blacksmithed and dual enchanted ebony bow and daedric arrows. I also did a little work on my sneak and dagger skills. Silent casting invisibility, walking up behind something, and stabbing it in the back is rather satisfying!

I really want to like this game. I have like a level 30 something character. All of the storylines are just sooo boring to me.

I modded my skyrim to be... Well lets just say its nowhere near the same as it was and everything is...interesting...

That's why I love PC games.

I don't own this game yet but the full, complete edition is coming out for Steam. So I'll be picking that up.

Oh yeah its worth it. Specially with all the different mods

I think I have over 100 mods that make the game very interesting and more of a challenge for me.
