Enhanced NiGHTS into Dreams coming to PS2!

While Wii owners will soon be enjoying the first NiGHTS sequel, it looks like PS2 owners will eventually be enjoying the original. Famitsu Magazine reports that an enhanced port of the original Sega Saturn game NiGHTS into Dreams will be coming to the Playstation 2 in Japan in February of next year.

The PS2 version will display in 16:9 widescreen, and feature slightly improved graphics. The game will also include galleries of video, art, and stills from the marketing and production of the game. We're pleased as punch that the original NiGHTS is being revisited, but it is a bit odd that the Wii will be graced with NiGHTS Journey of Dreams and not its predecessor. Perhaps the odds of a Virtual Console release have slightly increased?

I'm so giddy with excitement! I can't wait to get this for my PS3! :D
 
Probably gonna be overshadowed, unless the new NiGHTS sucks. Which it doesn't seem like.
 
Sega will release a PS2 version of NiGHTS into Dreams in Japan on February 21, 2008, for 3990 yen, a remake of the first NiGHTS game on Sega Saturn. The PS2 remake will have enhanced graphics and support 16:9 display.

I'm so ready for it. I don't care if it's overshadowed, that has no effect on the game at all. :D
 
is gonna include a motion controler or something??? because i think controling nights with the analog won't be as good as controling him with the wii remote (though it would be better if sega used the sixaxis)

No, it's not the Wii game. It's the original Saturn game, with some extra features for the Playstation 2.

Ive never played NiGHTS, but thats always a cool bonus. :D
