Dude, same here. I remember some island and that was it. It was already overdue, so we had to return it. But what from I do remember it had amazing graphics for the PS2 and easy to learn battle system. I just depise the table thing that lets you get new moves, it's irritating. But 12 is great, I'd put that on my list.

Yea the sphere grid was dumb at first but then i actually started to like it... the license system and XII im not to ecstatic about because i unlocked all the advanced magic at the beginning thinking i could use it right away cuz i was to arrogant to read/pay attention to the tutorials :lol
 
I liked the Sphere Grid system myself, but the Liscense system in 12 got it just right. Shame the game itself took a nose-dive into mediocrity.
