Fable comes out today for the Xbox.

I'll have the people who Pre-ordered pay soon.

I am restructuring the pre-orders starting monday that all people will pay throught the cart ahead of time, and I'll keep a running tab of a per game pre-order. That way, all pre-orders are done in advance.

Rest assured, those who have their pre-orders in, will have their copies :)

According to everything I read previously (and what the employee at GameCrazy said) they'll receive the game on the 13th (Monday) and have them ready for us pre-order people by the 14th.

odd.... I am seeing 15th all over the place.

All the suppliers, and even vendor websites.

I wonder how they are getting them early.

actually... I got the 15th date from the "direct" vendor... meaning I have reps..etc... that deal directly with the companies.

This is the same way Game Stop / EB games..etc... does business and gets their gaems.

I am not sure why there are date discrepancies though.... I saw that Gamestop said 13th while EB said 15th?

who is right on this one :lol

GameCrazy (a part of Hollywood Video) has it for the 13th also. That's where I preordered it.

Guess we'll have to wait the next few days and find out
 
did you find out. our local EBgames, Gamecrazy, Walmart, Target, Bestbuy, Toys R Us..etc... have it for the 15th still :-\

GameStop has the ship date as the 14th, meaning that's the day it will actually ship from wherever it's coming from, but that it won't reach the store until the 15th. When people ask for release dates, we are typically supposed to say it comes out one day after the ship date. Only games like Halo 2 and San Andreas will actually be in our store on the ship date, because someone will go to the airport and pick up our shipments directly.

Being a big company... they should.

There are a few places here that get them early.

Anyway, I can still add a couple more copies for pre-order IF anyone would like one :)

Well it really depends on the game. Some games, especially if there is no hype or no pre-orders, we don't get on time.

Fable is one that is kind of in the middle, so we'll probably get it a day after the ship date.

It's only the heavy-hitters like GTA, Halo 2, and Gran Turismo that I think we'll get early. It depends on how many pre-orders we get.

We actually did get Fable in yesterday at GameStop. But we only got like 30 copies and we had 35 pre-orders, so we had to hope that not everyone came in to pick up their copy. :lol We should be getting another shipment in today to cover the rest of the pre-orders, though.

It was funny, too. Someone tried to bribe me to sell them a copy of Fable since they hadn't pre-ordered. I straight up told them that if they wanted it that day they should have pre-ordered it ahead of time instead of waiting until the day it came out. It's not like it's a waste of $5, since it goes toward the game, which you're going to be buying anyways.
