Now it seems like our slacks will be staying firmly buttoned. While Nintendo published the Wii-exclusive in Japan, the company has no intention of making a repeat performance stateside with Nintendo boss Reggie Fils-Aime telling MTV, "We are not the publisher of that title in the Americas."

What, this was one of the games that I was looking forward too. And since Wii is stupidely region locked, I cant even import it! ZOMG this was the worst news of the day!

that one is at least more possible than Fatal Frame.

can't say it doesn't bother me but just like Sega's horrible move (haruhi suzumiya) i guess i'll just have to wait, see and make a petition XD... as you stated before companies have their reasons to do this sort of thing, anyway....

No Disaster Day of Crisis
Japan already has more DSi Colors than us
Were missing out on several Wii Channels
Wheres Super Smash Bros N64?

something similar to that can be said of every other company/console... all companies must have their reasons to hold back these DLC games and these colors and stuff like that.

See, the problem is that Nintendo is scattering stuff across regions, and there is no way to access the,. If everything was disc based media and the Wii were region locked then I would gladly import all my games, lol. But in this current predicament, were forced to play our American Wiis

PS3 and PSP owners can thwart the regional content for the PSN, while games are non region encoded (fortunately US and Japan are on the same region for Blu-Rays)
Is Xbox 360 region free too?

No sir. Speaking of region-free. I really need to order Demon's Souls from Playasia.com...the asian version is in full English (voice and text).

lol Demon's Soul looked brutally difficulty though I heard the boss fights are kind of epic.

There is a hack for Wii that allows you to play Japanese games on Wii. My friend uses this to play Taksunoko vs. Capcom on his Wii all the time. And it's the only safe, public, and legal way to do so.
