OK so what you do is you post what your favorite band is and why

I ask that there is no fighting about why you like it in this thread so if it starts off good but say starrynite and i get into that hannah montana thing

then it will be locked i dont want that


but anyway...

id say that my favorite band is slipknot because its like the original band that got me from listening to rap to listening to heavy metal
its also because its the band that i know the most about but im always learning new things about it which is what i really want
 
Kutless, DC Talk, Casting Crowns, The Afters, Jeremy Camp, FLAME, Lecrae, Trip Lee, DA T.R.U.T.H., Etc. Too many to list, really.

yeah i recently started getting into the misfits like the first semester of this school year and ive liked them since then and i think theyre just one of those great punk bands but like Nickthepunk said in a way earlier post, danzig should not have left the misfits

Yeah I mean I still like their music after he left but it was way better when he was in it. The original Misfits is still the best out of any of the music. Do you listen to any other punk bands? Any of the ones I listed possibly?

I'm not trying to start an argument or anything but none of that is true hardcore. True hardcore and original hardcore was the punk movement in the 1980s commonly known as hardcore punk but really just hardcore. So it's just a common thing to call music like that now a days hardcore when it really isn't the genre it should be referred to.
