Favorite Castlevania on the Ps1 or ps2?

CastleVania SOTN of course is number 1

Number 2...Castlevania Chronicles....shear classic

Number 3...Lament of Innoncence...was very nice

Yanno, I found a few Castlevania, SoN Ps1 games at the local used book store that I go to. I guess I should pick up a copy if they are as good as everyone says they are.

The best Castlevania I would say is Symphony of the Night. The Main Character Alucard is mad kool. By the way that's Dracula backwards. I love the storyline. I got the original version ( RARE ) like a long time ago. Around when it first comes out. That game is fun and the graphics cant get any better for PS1. The best part in the game is when the castle turns upside down. That part is kool . I also like how Alucard is trying to save his mom from his wretched father Vlad. Oh yea that reminds me of the boss fight with the imitation of his mom. That was dramatic. But anyways the bottom line is that Symphony of the Night is the best one but another good one is Aria of Sorrow for GBA cuz it resembles Symphony of the Night. But my favorite is Symphony of the Night for ps1.

This game is great. I found one at Blockbuster for $10. Worth every single penny and also has loads of replay value. This game is big. Or should I say the castle is big.

Okay today I was at work, and we were all just waiting for the last few guys to wash up so we could all boogey on out. I wanted to show a buddy of mine my new Castlevania game that I bought from BV (Thanks again BV!!). So he looks at it and says, "Yeah I have a Castlevania game for my PS1. It's a pretty cool game." I ask him how much he wants for it, and he replies, "I'll just bring it tomorrow and give it to you." "Is it Symphony of the Night?" I ask. He says yeah.
So if I am right, and he doesn't suddenly have second thoughts, I may score SoN for FREE!!! I have no idea how I walk into deals like these. But they happen to me from time to time.
I guess I should go and buy a lottery ticket. I hear it's $340 mil.

You have good Karma.

I don't know what it is.
One time I got a letter in the mail from the IRS saying that I owed them $500. My wife called me and was almost in tears. I got home that evening and apparently after getting off the phone, my monster-in-law came over because she had gotten some of our mail. My wife had an aunt back east that had died and willed her some money. $550. We paid The Man and went out to dinner. :D

It's either luck or Karma.

Well, today is the day. It all hinges on whether or not he remembers. :lol
And this morning, while waiting for my alarm to go off, I was thinking about the conversation. He wanted to get rid of it because he didn't have a PS1 anymore and the game never would save on a PS2 card. But he said all was fine when he saved on his PS1 when he had it.

That seems like the same problem I was having. I was discussing with one of you guys about how some PS1 games won't save to PS2 memory cards, and that you can't use PS1 cards with a PS2. I was starting to doubt myself. Now I know that I'm not the only one... :-\

Yeah thats exactly what I told you about your memory card back in the other thread. But it's cool, Im used to people not really remembering what I say or do.

Well he forgot. But I asked him if he was yanking my chain. he said no. I also asked agian what he wanted for it. He shrugged his shoulders and said, "Whatever." I told him that I'd like to give him something for it. I offered him one of my Gran Tourismo 1 games. I have the original and the greatest hits. He said, "Whatever." So I'm gonna give him that. He says he'll bring it on Friday when I go back to work.

@ Creepin', yeah it's coming back to me now. At least now I know I'm not crazy!!

Guess what I have in front of me as I type this?? CASTLEVANIA: SYMPHONY OF THE NIGHT BABY!!!! Well okay, he gave me the disk. He lost the case and all else that was with it. BUT, as an added bonus, he gave me Metal Gear Solid VR Missions.

I can live with just having just the disk. If I need one that's complete for collection value, I'll bug BV for one. He didn't want anything for the game also. I tried to give him a game, and he said no. I was like, okay. Now another buddy of mine wants to borrow SotN. But I told him no. Because I want to play it first. But that won't happen untill I am moved into my new place because all of my gaming stuff is packed in three 16x8" boxes.

Dont lend it out. It's too much of a good game to do that.

Oh no. I have been burned when I lent games to buddies. I get them back with scratches or I don't get them back at all. I once had two PS1s, and lent one to a buddy only to never see it again.
Besides, I have been waiting to get this game for a long time.

I like all of the Castlevania games for the NES, GB, PCE, SNES, GEN, PS1, N64, GBA, PS2 & DS. 8) :)

I want to buy Castlevania: Curse of Darkness for the PS2 that is coming out on 11/1/2005 which is on a Tuesday. 8)

Anyone getting it???. :) 8)
