Favorite Fighting Game?

16bit: Killer Instinct and Super Street Fighter 2 are tied. Mortal Kombat comes in a close second.
32/64bit: Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag Tournament
128bit: Soul Caliber 1 with Marvel Vs. Capcom 1 & 2 in second.

Anything newer I'm really up on.
 
This might sound odd, but Dragonball Z Tenkaichi 2.

Yeah... played it until i was addicted.

and yes, i used to be a DBZ fanboi.

Agreed also.

I'm honestly going with Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Nothing can compare to the madness and chaos of that game, IMO.
 
well recently i have spent countless of hours on dissidia, brawl and Tatsunoko vs capcom so although they are oddball fighters i gotta pick them as my favorites

Tekken Tag Tournament on the PS2 was like Tekken 3 enhanced. The only things really missing were Gon and the Doctor.

That being said, Tekken 3, Tekken Tag Tournament, and Tekken 5 are my all time favorite fighters.

Mortal Kombat 2 get honorable mention.

Soul Calibur 2 gets knocked back a few points for parts of story mode containing controller-breaking difficulty.

Smash Brothers had some cool titles that deserve at least a mention as well.
