Favorite Samurai Movie

I was going to say Ninja Scroll for my choice, but then I realized ninjas are not exactly the same thing as samurais (or are they?).

I liked Kill Bill, though.

Sure we could include Ninja Movies, or also add What's your favorite Ninja Movie, would have to be Shinobi Heart Under Blade for me

My friend Ryan and I always note how in most every samurai movie there is always one supremely strong character who ends up killing insane amounts of opponents before being taken down by like 50 guys at once. We call that character the Sickdude (one word)

Yep, Long Live the Sickdude, Shintaro Katsu and Toshiro Mifune (my personal favorite actors) play excellent Sickdudes

GamingMaiden, I have not seen the movie Ninja Scroll yet, I will have to pick it up

I just picked up a flick called IZO, I hope it's good, the guy at the store said it was one of his favorites.

Cool, I will have to put that on my list, which includes Goyokin aka Steel Blade of Revenge , which if I remember right was origionaly going to be a Yojimbo Movie, but Toshiro Mifune walked out because it was so cold on set. From what I hear it is one of the best Chambara movies ever made, please keep me informed.

BTW LinkTriforceGC how was VS.? I have Azumi 1 &2 wich is by the same director, both were better than I expected, I would call them more of a Comic Book or Fantasy Movie, but there are some cool fights and camera tricks.
