It is close, but Dawn 04 remains one of my overall favorite movies. It was the first zombie movie I ever saw in theaters, and I thought it was really great.
The original Dawn of the Dead...how dare they remake a masterpiece. 
Night of the Living Dead now there is a classic movie for you.
