Favourite Book(s)?

I'm inclined to go with "The Diary Of Adrian Mole" and "Choose Your Own Adventure" Series

Childhood's End, The Outsiders, Tex, Fallen Angels by Walter Dean Myers, and pretty much the rest of S.E. Hinton's books :lol

I <3 S.E Hinton's stuff. Ayn Rand is a good author in her own right. Entertaining. I think my favorite book of all time is undoubtly The Outsiders. Recently though, I really really liked the Lovely Bones. Made me cry. :(

It's so hard to pick one favorite so my favorite four are:

Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte
David Copperfield - Charles Dickens
Bleak House - Charles Dickens
East of Eden - John Steinbeck

I just read this for school. It was one of the single worst books (IMO of course) I have ever read. :lol

That aside, some of my favorites are Crime and Punishment, The Cather in the Rye, 1984, and The Great Gatsby.

I hear "Moby Dick" is a very difficult book to interpret. Why is that?

I dunno, I've never actually read Moby Richard.

EDIT: LOL @ the censor making it Moby Richard.

The censor is kind of overdoing it a bit. What if you want to discuss Dick Clark or Dick Butkus?I'm not trying to change the rules or anything,I was just surprised when you pointed that out.I didn't know the swear filter covered that. :lol

Since I LOVE mythology, I think my favorite series is Percy Jackson and the Olympians, even though it's really easy.

I also enjoy mythology.Especially Greek.Although I'm certain it was considered religion for them way back.If you are lucky enough to find it,this game is for you.(If you haven't already played it yet).

It has a kind of harry potter appeal, especially since the first book is a complete rip off of Sorcerers Stone. I love them all.

My favorite book series though is A Song of Ice and Fire. I swear its the second coming of Lord of the Rings. Best character development ever, and the author isnt afraid to kill off characters that you previously thought that (plotwise) were invincible, such as MAIN CHARACTERS. They are all over 700 pages per book though, and its supposed to be a 7 book series... so get ready for some dedication if you want to tackle this beast.

Robert Jordan - Eye of the Dragon (Wheel of Time series)
