Final Fantasy

I think I'm a big FFdork.

Personally, I can't decide whether I liked 8 or 9 more.

FF7 was a great game.

FF8 was my first ff since 3 on snes...

FF9 had one of the best storylines and oh my god? Four character parties again.

FFX also had a great story and the innovative sphere grid, which after you put like 250+ hours into the game you get fucking awesome...(yeh...I'm a dork and that was like my fifth time through the game)

X-2 was fun...but meh

I'm just listing the newish ones.

I haven't played xii yet, haven't picked it up yet and I pre-ordered it a year ago LOL

I really liked FFV (the remake in anthology)

Personally, I'd recommend starting with 8 or 9 :D

Enjoy.

Contact me if you want to play ff7 :) I can help you out.

well my favorites so far are VII, IX, X, XII. III
like all of them (except dirge of cerberus, i just like the story)

why you hate FFX so much? XD.
Lets see, bad dialouge, repetitive combat, horrible voice acting, a do-it-yourself level-up system that wouldve worked justell as a normal one, dumb plot, some useless characters and features, and the puzzles were too hard for an rpg. oh, I gave it a chance. a 20+hour chance. But it never got better. bleh.

really boom? i thought the story of FFX was excellent, probably my favorite one
Kill a beast just so it can come back? Oh yeah, REALLY epic. ::)

Also, you were competing with other people to beat the sin? it almost felt like a sport game just because of that. Oh wait, there WAS a sports game in there, but it was CRAP! >:(

no it was addictive and challenging. and the whole story, the whole deal with syn, the whole auron backstory

and the fact that

*SPOILER ALERT*

tidus didnt even exsist

was awesome

most interesting characters in any game ever, to me

Didnt exsist huh. Wow. Ill just stick with MGS2 in the case of proper plot twists.
Although, I would like to know more about Auron. He was the only interesting character.imo

What's wrong with being able to choose how your characters level up? I loved the sphere grid, it's much better than the computer leveling your characters up how they see fit, but that's just me.

Nothing, but there were only like one or two overall trails to take for each character. thats what I like about FFXII. The possibilties are endless.

Final Fantasy X had hard puzzles? What the hell...do you suck at videogames?
No, I beat God of War on God mode, Dead to Rights (Xbox version), Ninja Gaiden, and Super Mario Brothers 3. Its just that some of the puzzles felt out of place in a game like that.
