My brother wanted to know if there was an existing world record the longest time spent playing video games.Personally,I don't know exactly how they would monitor it.I checked "Guinness" but to no avail,maybe I didn't search enough.I thought maybe one of you might know.

Measuring longest streaks require a Guiness official to come and watch the entire thing. Needless to say, it's quite a fun job.
 
I'm sure there is a record, but people who go on gaming binges that last longer than a day frequently end up dead, so I wouldn't recommend trying to break it, if there is one.

when I game I rarely need to eat or use the bathroom its like my body knows what I need to do and it blocks all the stuff that would get in the way of my gaming.

Nice.

A friend of mine did something like that once. Didn't sleep for 3 nights straight, playing Halo.
 
He stocked up on food and I'm not sure he drank anything though.

I went 48 (approx) once. hat's about all for me. I was really bored those days, and gaming non-stop was all I could do. That was fun!
