God of War II Greatest Hits?

god of war 1 did, and gow of war 2 is one of the best selling games of this year, so there is no reason it wouldnt

It takes longer than the five or so months the game has been out for it to become GH. I think it took Kingdom Hearts 2 a year to become GH, for example. I could be off though. :)

Yeah but with the PS3 out I imagine it will get bumped up to GH a bit faster.

god of war 2 is now $40

but something just struck me, what if sony isnt planning on releasing any more greatest hits titles?
 
120+ million affordable PS2's or four million expensive PS3's? PS2 is still the better profit.
 
It will be. Sony won't mind, because all sales are going to Sony, not to the PS3. You can play PS2 games on your PS3, so as long as Sony's getting loyalty from somewhere, they'll keep on doing what they have to do. Greatest Hits is one of those things. Look for it to happen around the holiday season, if not before.

If it sells, which it does, they won't lower it until it slows. Like Melee. They raised it back to $30 from it's $20 status 'cause it sold.
 
Actually, Kingdom Hearts 2 was in its peak when it went on GH. It works out, because with more people buying it, and a lower price...even more people will be drawn to it. I guess we'll all find out soon, maybe.
