Guilty Pleasures

Dragon Quest Swords on Wii. So many people trashed it, but I loved it :lol

Manhunt 2. Crappy game compared to it's original, but I loved it.

REDNECK RAMPAGE! Such an outdated FPS, but omg I love it :lol

any game play on the wii for more than 5 hours T_T

and Final Fantasy X-2

Well just according to reviews, these are some games that generally get bad reviews, but that I highly enjoyed.

Turok 2
Castlevania 64
Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Dark Cloud
Harvest Moon 64
Dragon Warrior 7
Smugglers Run

@X2...CastleVania 64 and Dragon Warrior 7 rocked imho. Harvest Moon 64...ah yeah, did you know that game was never released in Australia and it's value is insane to Australian collector's?...and I don't blame you for choosing Dark Cloud, that was a sick game.

Yea, I dunno why Castlevania 64 caught so much hate, I thought it was sweet! And wow, I never knew that about Harvest Moon 64! It just doesn't seem like the kind of game that would be worth much. Now I just need to figure out how to get my copy back that I traded to a buddy :P

Yeah Harvest Moon fetches a pretty price these days...I remember we would sell it for $35 and higher for just the cart.

I'm surprised no one has said Rumble Roses, Dead or Alive Xtreme or something like that. As for me, Glover on the N64 falls under that category.

EDIT: I can't believe I forgot the mention Space Station Silicon Valley before. It wasn't universally considered a bad game or anything, just no one bought it, or heard of it. It was an obscure N64 game where you were a robot microchip that could take over the bodies of robotic animals in this space station. It had many levels to it, with varying environments, and it was an absolute blast to play. I really hope to see it on Virtual Console some day. There was also an infamous glitch in it. To get to the real end of the game, you had to collect these items throughout the levels called souveniers, well there was one particular souvenier that couldn't be collected. If you tried, you went right through it! The only way to actually finish it was by using a GameShark, or device of the like.

I played a lot of each of those.
And you reminded me, I never got the chance to play the full retail version of Dark Cloud. I only managed to get through the first boss you fight in the first dungeon, in my 30 minute demo version. :lol (I have a new quest, because I still want to play it).
Other games would have to be:
Baldurs Gate
Dungeon Siege
Vantage Master
Death Rally
Hell Fighter
(can't think of anything else right off my head right now)

Haha, the thread description

Lets See
---------------------
Enchanted Arms wasnt liked by everyone, but I love it (even though it bascially plays itself with the fast forward through fighting feature)
Sonic Unleashed (I love my Sonic)
Yugioh games are so fun.

Yes, thats what the opening post says

You'll have to forgive my idiocy,i was up all night,I can't find where it says that. :lol

I'm inclined to say 1. "Venture"(Arcade) :D
2. "Urban Champ"(NES) :D
3. "Smurf"(Coleco) :D

Some of the guilty pleasures mentioned here came up on the latest episode of Arm-a-chair Hour Vol. 1

I was really glad to see Harvest Moon pop up in this thread. We talked about fairly early on, an it made for a hilarious discussion. It happens about 15 minutes in, so you don't have to listen to the whole episode to hear about Harvest Moon. Definitely worth listening to. :D
