The fretboard is indeed BEM.Both the neck(she is neck-through body btw),and wings are black walnut...The top is figured claro walnut.

So nice :o I've always been a fan of V's and yours is about the nicest one I've ever seen. Are those Dimarzio pickups in there? In one picture it looks like dual X2N's.

That Carvin V is nice. I love neck-through designs!

Below are my guitars and my equipment setup in various stages:

The pickups are actually stock Carvin...M22V,and M22SD.I had plans to install DiMarzio's...Carvin pickups have surprised me though.

I'm not a guitar expert, but I've always loved the look of the guitars that Mark Knophler plays. Are they what you call semi-acoustic?

That type of guitar is called a resonator guitar,or Dobro.

Do they sound like an electric guitar or have a unique kind of sound as opposed to other guitars?

those are sick, i play a little guitar and have a few crappy guitars, but i am really a drummer. I have a pearl export with titanium zildjians it looks sickkk

Awesome pics! But personally, I don't like natural wood finishes on guitars. Don't know why, but I'd rather have a nice paint job.

But, I'm sure it sounds great. I've always like that particular V shape.

The amp is a Carvin V3212 combo...it has two Celestion vintage 30's.Stock tubes are all GT's,but I replaced them with JJ KT77's.The sound can vary from extreme high gain metal tone...to a more warm vintage tone.Clarity is maintained at all gain/volume levels that I've used.It really starts to sound great at high(5,or greater)volume. The first, and second channels can be set up exactly the same,or completely different.I use a TS808 to push the front end...sounds kinda marshall-esque,but with way more bottom end. There are all kinds of great tone shaping features...A master section with bright, deep, and mid-cut...also a volume boost.Rather versatile. It's somewhat heavy though...I wish it had wheels.

Here's a more recent one... I forgot my camera when jamming last night, so took a few quick shots today:

In the above pictures:
B.C. Rich Warlock NT standard; Grover tuners, Ibanez Edge bridge, Seymour Duncan pickups
Ibanez gig bag enclosing a B.C. Rich Virgin platinum; Ibanez Edge bridge, EMG-81 pickups

2x SKB ATA standard rack cases 4u each
Furman AR-1217 voltage regulator/power conditioner
Mesa/Boogie Triaxis programmable tube preamp
TC Electronic G-major effects processor
Mesa/Boogie 2:Ninety stereo power amplifier
Rocktron MIDI Mate control pedal

And yes, one of my pet rats decided to run under my power amp to take a look.
