Half-life 3 basically confirmed

This is possibly the most anticipated title for me yet. Even more than Halo 3. (Which is shocking.) I think Half Life is the best FPS IMO. This is awesome. From what I heard, Half Life episodes 1-3 was the other way of saying it was Episode 3....(heard it from IGN so I didn't exactly believe it too much......)

I still can't believe Eli got killed.....that made me sob. :'( I wonder how Alyx deals with it in HL:EP3
 
I can't freaking beat the original Half Life, i've finished The Orange Box (all games) and I still haven't beaten the original. I am nowhere near as good with a mouse and keyboard as i am with a controller....
 
didnt someone say that the three half life episodes were going to unofficially be half life 3?

Half-Life was ported to the PlayStation 2 by Gearbox Software and released in 2001. This version of the game had a significant overhaul in terms of both character models, weapons, and more advanced and extended levels and general map geometry (see Half-Life High Definition Pack for a model-comparison). Despite the increased level of detail, the style of some of the models (most noticeably the human grunts) is also noticeably altered. Also added in is a head-to-head play and a co-op expansion called Half-Life: Decay that allowed players to play as the two female scientists Dr. Cross and Dr. Green at Black Mesa. Another interesting feature allowed players to use a USB mouse and keyboard, a feature unmatched on the platform.

yea like i'll be able to find the damn thing in stores...actually the same thing happened to me with Half Life 2. I had to wait for The Orange Box before I could play it, I had it for the PC, but my mouse-keyboard skills came into question and it was downhill from there. Who knows maybe i'll buy it online once I run out of games for the 360...(circa March 08...except GTA IV and DMC4, nothing really I'm dyin for up till that point...)
