Halo Wars

i mean starcraft was good but I think Halo wars for all the fans will be a great game maybe even better then starcraft. *slams foo t down*
 
Well, about pop caps, I think it is stupid that if I can massively outproduce the enemy because I have a better economy/production base, I should be able to use that to my advantage to win. Command and Conquer does that right.

Well, I understand that, but it really would take a lot of resources, infrastructure, and general manufacturing to make/sustain a really huge army. If you actually could build up all that, I would understand your frustrations. Plus, the 360 doesn't have unlimited power. XD

Seen the preview gameplay videos for Starcraft 2 yet?

Halo Wars looks awesome.

CnC is definitely fun.

I'm still playing the original Starcraft & Brood Wars... When SC2 comes out, I'm probably buying a new computer just to run it. (I think my Pentium 3 is a little outdated at this point.)
 
Yeah, I fully intend to buy a new PC for SC2 or Empire Total War that can run them maxed.

If SC2 is even half as good as SC or BW, it will be GotY.

To be honest, I think its way too early to really say anything definitive about this one. We have like two videos, and this probably won't come out for at least another year...a bit early to start throwing around things like "better than Starcraft ( >:( )"

At least its in capable hands though...

Halo is great, for sure. I definitely like Halo 1 and Halo 2.

Starcraft is a PC game (or Nintendo 64) where three alien races are in a war. As a player, you pick between terrans (human space marines... kinda like in Halo), the zerg (xenomorphic aliens like in the movie Aliens), or the super advanced protoss (like the aliens in Independence Day).

As any of these three races, you build up a base, then create an army to destroy the other players (whether they be computer or human).

There is a very long, involved single-player game with a unique storyline that lets you build up slowly while fighting through various battles.

Starcraft is definitely an awesome game. Halo Wars is based on the genre that Blizzard definied with the original Warcraft game, but using characters unique to the Halo universe.
