Debated by a few, the actual birthday in America is August of 89'. However, the Sega MegaDrive in Japan, was released on this very day.

20 Years old today!
 
My Sega Genesis is presently sitting on my TV to the right of me while I am typing this. I bought this system before I even thought about the SNES. Hellfire was my first game, and I still have it. Time flies, it really doesn't seem like 20 years. I don't know why but in those days it seemed like magic fuzzy electricity was in the air.
 
I remember '88 like it happened, well, 20 years ago. I got booted out of my dad's house for the first time. ::)
