HAPPY HALLOWEEN EGA!

Happy Halloween everyone! I truly hope it's a fun and safe one for everyone here.

So what did everyone dress up like? Did everyone have fun? My oldest son dressed up like a knight. My daughter dressed up like a princess, and my lil one dressed up like a monkey. We all went to the historic section of Wake Forest and the kids made out like bandits. It was cool. A lot of the parents dressed up too. One lady dressed up like Sarah Palin. Good times. The Wake Forest PD was all over the place too, so the kids were reasonably safe. I wonder if they looked at me with suspicion..? I was in nearly all black with a big Maglite. I played street lamp all night in front of houses.

Initially I wanted to dress up like Robert Downey Jr. from Tropic Thunder, that way when people asked "who are you supposed to be?" I could reply "I'm the dude playin the dude, who played the black dude," and if anyone didn't catch that I'd give'em a "what do you mean you people?"

Unfortunately only half the costume worked out, and after briefly considering going as "racism" I grabbed a BK King Crown, a Nintendo at, and went to a friend's Halloween shindig as "King of the Nerds." It worked out pretty well actually, because two of my friends went as Mario and Luigi, and another went as Ash (Bruce Campbell) who actually had a really good costume, chainsaw and all.

At school I saw one guy dressed up as a Republican, which I thought was kind of funny. I thought I saw a group of people dressed up as democrats, turns out they were just a bunch of yuppies. :lol

I bought a full body gorilla costume. Best Halloween ever.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! though my response to this is quite well delayed... oh well, it's never too late to put on a black-clad uniform and sneak around threatening to egg peoples houses if they don't give you cas... I mean... candy.
