Hi Members!

Have any of you made a post or reply that you wish you could take back?

Mine would take up too much space to list! :lol

God Bless,

If you regret posting things, you might be posting too impulsively.

If there is something you have doubts about posting, err on the side of caution.

lol, I think this would apply on Gamespot forums. The last time I checked, they seem to have removed the edit option button, so once you say something it is final, lol.

In that case, I'd say Grindspine probably has it right. If you find yourself regretting posts, you're probably posting too impulsively.

Instead of just hitting the reply button and posting the first thought that comes to mind, go do something else and let yourself calm down. Then, when you post, it will be rational rather than emotional. Or, you might find that it doesn't bother you at all after you've had time to think about it. :)

This is actually really good advice :) I've been guilty of posting out of emotion and I always regret it once I've "come to my senses" so to speak.

lol

I normally re-read what I type out (especially if it's long) so I know if I've typed out something I shouldn't be saying. Otherwise, Mai has a perfect method for minimising the chance of posting something you'll regret later.
