Don't kill me yet. But for some reason I've just lost all joy with DoA since I bought the fourth.
Must be that my friends never wanted to play, and by the time I'd beaten the game, all there was was to unlock things. And when I came back after a few months, I had to relearn the controls! lol.
NOTE: Don't play FPS's for four or so months, then head to a fast-paced, one-on-one combat type game!
That being said, (and though this is contradictory) I'd like to see what a DoA 5 had in store for us!

I've been a fan of the DoA series in the same way people go "window shopping." I appreciate what they're doing with the games, but I rarely ever sit down and play one.

Yeah, I agree. I also didn't like how they skimped on the costumes in DoA4. In DoA2 most of the characters had a ton of different costumes to choose from. In DoA4, I think only Kasumi and Hitomi had more than five.
