help make a Dev Decision DRM Free or to Steam

Hey

Im currently developing a strategy game and I would like your feedback regarding releasing it as DRM or DRM Free?

So far the response has been quite evenly split. Im currently considering a DRM free for KS release and then a DRM version to be released on Steam.

thoughts, comments suggestions?

I personally prefer DRM free and if I were to purchase the game, that's where I'd go. But Steam is a great service too and it's a lot more visible to gamers there than going on your own. Unless you go crazy and somehow publicize it's release as much as a corporate game would.

I would like indie games to succeed, so my ultimate advice would be for you to release it on Steam. But if you can, release it DRM free as well.
