HELP!! out of games to play! Tell me what game I should check out next.

Are there any games already out there anyone can recommend?
check the following criteria
1. Console: PlayStation 2 and 3, Game cube
2. Genre: Action adventure and/or horror
3. Mode: Single player
4. Story-telling is paramount.
5. Rating: E to AO.

And just so you know a little bit about my tastes, here are my top 5 favorite games.
1. Psychonauts
2. Resident Evil: 4
3. Drake's Uncharted: 2
3. Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
4. God of War: 3
5. Tomb Raider: Legend

That being said, I would recommend the following:

PS2 - Devil May Cry series and Metal Gear Solid series

PS3 - Heavy Rain (A very good combination of Action/Horror/Suspense), Dead Space, Heavenly Sword

I don't know all too many Gamecube games in those genres but I'm sure some other members here can help.

Strubes, thanks so much for the suggestions! Though I 've played the games you've mentioned, I can tell that you have a VERY good sense of my gaming tastes, heh.
I like Devil May Cry (part 3 being my fav)
the Metal Gear Solid series is great (The end battle for MGS4...epic)
Heavy Rain (really enjoyed it...Shelby?! noooooo! but I liked him!, heh)
Heavenly Sword (has some of the best acting I've seen in a video game. speaking of Ninja Theory
I am very curious about their new game "Enslaved". Though the game play reminds me a
lot of Uncharted. looks veeeeery interesting.)
Dead Space is a crazy game. (Part2 is coming out soon I hear. gonna wait on some of my co-workers to buy the
game 1st and see what they think. The ending to DS1 was a lil disappointing.
Hopefully 2 answers a lot of the questions I had about the events that took place in
part 1)

Bionic Commando (not the best game but I managed to find it brand new for $5 so was worth it)

Ps2:
God Hand (cannot recommend this game enough although the story is more light-hearted I guess)
Zone of The Enders series
Viewtiful Joe series
Yakuza series (I love the story of the first two)
Haunting Ground (Actually haven't played it, bought it though and my girlfriend loves it and I've heard good things)

Gamecube:
Killer 7 I guess lol
