Ok first things first i found this clip of little girls doing a dancing to Beyonce and there has been a bit of arguing about it on the forums so any way there's a bit of controversy about what they are wearing ok yes it probably is to reviling BUT don't dancers wear these types of outfits all the time? seriously what is the big deal these girls got some talent any way i bring this up because i want to know what the people of Game Addicts think about this i personally think people are over thinking this and are overreacting.

Anyway on topic I saw some of the video and personally I don't like it, not enough to raise a stink but they're seven, I see more negatives than positives.

I mean this is just my mindset, not trying to pass it off as fact
If I had a daughter I wouldn't want her dressing like that, there are some sick people that may watch just because it's a child showing some skin.
Slippery slope, outfits could get more revealing. look how times change, hell look at somethings singers like Rihanna and Lady Gaga are wearing, alot of them are, for lack of a better word, outlandish. Imagine them on a little girl. :T

As for good....I dunno, kids get to express themselves I guess.

I agree the outfits were showing way to much skin but i thort dancers wear outfits like that all the time and i think one of the positives about this is that they are very talented for there age ok yes they probably shouldn't be doing a dance like that but the fact that they can synchronize almost perfectly and pull off that dance is pretty impressive for a few 7 years old but yeah i'm just trying to find positives in this and yes kids get to express them selves.
 
Welcome to 2010.The very fact they are even discussing this is a prime example of just how screwed up this world truly is.What was unheard of 60 years ago in now commonplace.I believe parenting is a huge factor in today's child development and is much more lax than ever,but in all fairness I'm not a parent so I can't truly understand the feeling of being one.

All I know is that sometimes the parents are more interested in these things than the children are.Especially in child beauty pageants.Personally,I believe things like this are very hard on children.I think a lot of kids like it at first,but the parental pressure can overwhelm some of them just trying to please mom.Most kids will say that they like doing things like this,but in most cases,again,they're just trying to please their mothers and to a lesser extent in most places,their fathers.

Celebrities like Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan which a lot of these young girls look up to and constantly see on TV and the internet dressed provocatively don't help the situation.Pedophiles will find young ones attractive no matter what clothes they're wearing.Young ones dressing sexy are just a bonus to them.

Ive actually never gone on this site but i have heard there are some weirdo's and some pretty sick stuff on there but are you telling me they actually have pedophilia material there? because if they do how is that site not shut down i mean i thort that was the line sites weren't aloud to cross.
 
they don't have it on the site, just people on the site trade it amongst themselves, the site itself is just an imageboard, and it isn't all bad only one part '/b/-random' is bad.
 
Anyone else feel incredibly uncomfortable watching that video? Seven year old's dancing like that just seems so out of place. I'm not passing judgment or anything, but it just seems wrong.

Anyway I think the less said about the site, the better.

Yeah homicidal it just seems inappropriate, I know it's not always good to shelter your kids, but maybe it's ok to a certain extent xD
Those outfits are usually considered sexy but on children that's just creepy and wrong

:lol at the gif and the negatives only outweigh the positives if you want them to i mean i stand in the middle here with this i'm not aroused by this but not angry about it either i'm like in middle here bro.

I get what you're saying. But I bet they could dance like that in another outfit. Thing is, no one is going to really talk about their outfits. The people on the middleground aren't really going to be voicing their opinion about it.
I'm sure it's safe to say the majority of the people talking about this or bringing it up are outraged about or atleast show some kind of disapproval.

What I'm trying to say is that it's more likely these kids aren't going to be remembered for their dance, just their outfits.

For example Paris Hilton. What comes to mind first? Her CD/The Simple Life or something negative about her in the media (like jail time, that certain tape, etc.)

That's pretty much how I stand on it. I don't think the outfits are really the problem, that's not all that bad for a dance outfit. I think the problem most people would have with it is how raunchy these little kids are dancing. They are very talented though.
 
Actually this has got me thinking

1.Why is it that if a female teacher puts her arm around a student or if a student hurts him self and the female teacher see's if the student is ok and hugs him/her it's seen as fine but if a male teacher does any of those things it's seen as perverted like seriously wth why is that?

2.If some one called that video cute people would be up in arms and call them a pervert but then people call baby's cute all the time so my question is why the **** can you call a baby cute but then if a say 7 year does a little dance and some one calls them cute it's perverted i don't know seems rather stupid if you ask me :|.

1. Pretty sure all teachers aren't allowed to do that.

2. No one is saying you can't call a child cute. Outfits like those are usually to display sex appeal, and Beyonce's dance moves involved stuff like thrusting and gyrating. You've heard sex sells right? Beyonce is a good looking woman and I'm sure she's fully aware of that and uses it to her advantage. Thing is she's a grown woman and these are kids. Kids in skimpy outfits gyrating and thrusting. Now I don't think that's appropriate. :|
