Hope some of you fellas got a Wii..

Thanks to the amazing censorship here, the whole point of my post was kind of desecrated.

Regardless, the Wii is astonishing.

There's really no need to even talk about Zelda. Touch it for a while and it'll speak straight to your brain for you (and holy shit as a side note the disc art is amazing looking - it's golden and shiny.. and so beautiful!).

Also as another side note: Wii Bowling is some amazing cool. And boxing, while needing some tweaks (come on new, refined Punch Out!) is actually.. quite awesome. All of the sports games are intuitive and easy to play. On the simplistic side? Sure. But my friend and I sure had a hell of a time playing with it. It just makes you want to show everyone and play with everyone.

The OS is so god damn slick. It's beautiful. Classic controller has been remapped from E3, so it actually functions with 64 games correctly now (eh, if you've heard my previous complaints you'd be familiar, otherwise not too relevant to you). The Miis you make can be so damn cute, or crazy looking... it's awesome. Awesome blossom.

Wii for the win. As I said since E3.

Honestly guys..this is the best console ever made. It's so different. Nintendo's gonna win this cycle for sure. PS3 and Xbox 360 are just 1.5 versions of their last console so there's not point in them. this is the first truly innovative gameplay since...well, the DS heh.

Seriously. I haven't been excited since I touched Mario 64 in target a decade ago.

Wii is where it's at guys. Buy it.

Griff, did you get yours yet? My Best Buy only sold 13 since it's release, so I'm jus savin up money to pick one up. What games should I get with it to start off, Sartori?

I've played 2 hours of red steel and 5 hours of Zelda. Zelda is the best game ever hands down. Get it. Both those games are solid.
 
Well Zelda, IMO, pales in comparison to Gears of War. I got to test run Zelda over a friend's today for an hour or so. It's something I would buy, but the controls felt weird. You can't use the cube controller on it? >:(

Griff, doesn't it already come with Wii sports? I think I'll stay with Madden for the 360 jus for the graphics though. Wii sports sounds fun.
