the guy who is heading SSB:B is telling us gamers to keep our GC controllers. Or at least that's what the article said he said. thje article is at gamestop. Snake is going to be tight to play. Now all they need is Viewtiful Joe and Dante and Sora and the game will be set to be the best. I can actually imagine a keyblade in that game. It also looks like this time around characters will have Special Finisher Moves.

It's not a special finishing move that you see. Well, it is sort of. Not in the traditional sense - which is good, as it would break Smash Bros in a couple ways.

What that is which Mario does is an item.

Looks like it to me.I bet its a Levi's jacket...that how cool he is.

Strubes...It is not Wario on a motorcycle that is bringing Nintendo to the top(although it doesn't hurt)..it is the awesome games(NES,SNES,N64,Genesis,TG16,GCN,Wii),controller,and expected price.

man.... I understand how some people don't like metroid prime... but because you don't like it doesn't make it a great game Both 1 and 2 are well liked. I am SURE 3 will be better..... why? You look with the controller now... and THAT will change EVERYTHING IMO. I agree that the controls were a bit clunky... and that's why the controller look will change everything. NEVER-the-less... it was a great game. Even though the scanning feature sucked at times, it was rather cool (on a second time through) reading all the info.... even though a bit tedious.

I dunno, I never played metroid on SNES, so perhaps there was an element of nostalgia I was missing out on. The reason why I lost interest so quickly in the game was because of the way you played through it. You'd run into non-stop dead ends, and then eventually you'd find a weapon or ability that would allow you to get through one of those dead ends. So you had to spend hours back tracking through areas you'd been to a hundred times, killing the same enemies, just to find the one place where you could use said item/ability. And then once you did that you realized the path you opened up led to another item/ability which meant another several hours of backtracking, doing the same things as before, etc. etc.

Honestly, I'd never played a game before where I felt like the developers actually tried to make playing the game tedious. Hours upon hours of backtracking is not my idea of "fun."

An FPS like, say, Red Steel for instance, could be loads of fun with the rev controller, but I doubt I'd go near a metroid game.

The online multiplayer alone should be enough to give it a try...even if you do not like the main game.

Ive never played a metroid game before, but i will try it. The online multiplayer was a help ;D

Since the Wii will be able to download Games from almost all of Nintendo's past consoles you will be able to play all the classic Metroids also..how cool is that?I plan on downloading Super Metroid!

Lol seriously, it wouldn't be healthy. I'd go into a major fanboy breakdown and suffer from fanboytitus for the next 3 Months. Especially from seeing Snake in the game (!!!!). I loved Melee, it's my favourite Nintendo game this gen.

well then let me assure you that it looks awesome.perhaps a mere screenshot would be more acceptable?

Eh, I don't think the controller's gonna help much. The price didn't help too much in it's current gen run either. :lol

As for games, there's only one that interests me. That's SSB...no others look decent enough for my time.

BTW...good job finding those videos. I liked the last one the best. :)

I consider this year's E3 to be a tie between Nintendo and Microsoft. MS especially blew me away with some of the new upcoming titles. The system is finally coming into it's own. This will be the second system Ill buy.

Nintendo blew me away with Smash and Zelda. As for Metroid Prime? I too, didn't like it on the GC BUT I love how it handles on the DS and if Nintendo can improve on that with the new controller then I can see non-fans actually enjoy the Revolution one.

As for Sony, they discouraged me a little. Ill still get one eventually for the great franchises that it has, but it didn't really impress me much at E3. Hopefully between now and release day, they show off more of what the system can do. Especially in regards to Blu-ray.

If this is true, you are going to LOVE the new Metroid. The DS handles like an Atari game compared to Corruption.
