how long is oblivion?

i have only spent about 3 hours in the main storyline, and about 50 hours in side quests. how much more do i have? (this does not include any of the expansion, im kinda broke right now....)
 
A lot. You'll get bored before the end though. I personally couldn't get much past 50 hours of gameplay myself (I think about 70 hours I finally gave up cause I was bored).
 
my game has glitches that wont let me advance in either the theives guild or mages guild

The average player I would estimate would log 75-150 hours on it with just one character. A more hardcore player (who uses multiple characters or does everything) 200-300 hours.

Go to the Game crazy and get a disc buffing. it enables 80% less crappiness on self.
 
Well i always thort that Oblivion was never ending like you do all the main quests but then you got the side quests and there's always stuff you can improve and do in Oblivion so really it's up to you how long you want Oblivion to be in a way.
 
ahh.. my friend u have a longlong way 2 go if u want 100% game completion... my advice... cancel all yer plans, and just dont stop playing. you will find that u will be getting level 100 skills everyday and yeer character will soon be the highests level at every stat. then just start doing quests, finish all the guilds, the arena dark brother hood, main quest, side quests, kill every type of monster.......... ya know...

I got kind of bored once I beat all the guilds, and arena, and the only stat I ever got to a hundred was sneak, and I really didn't need much of anything else high. I just sneak up on people and kill them in one hit, or just use enchanted weapons. In fact, I found a lot of the game pretty easy...

Pull out guns and shoot people....lol not so much. I got to level 15 in Oblivion today. I'm doing the Nine Divines quests. It's pretty sweet wearing their armor cause each piece is crazy good.
 
The armor from the Knights of the Nine will level with you, too. You just have to put it back on the dummy every once in a while.

As far as the topic goes, I think I'm somewhere around 130 hours and there are still things I haven't done.

lol sure....I don't know how old you take me to be, but I was prolly playin games before you were born.

EDIT: You're 14....I was playing games before you were born for sure.
 
Honestly i dont think it does end does it i mean even if you do all the main quest side quest etc etc you still got a hole shit load of other stuff you can do and after you do that i guess go around and kill every one in every town if you can 8).
