How many more months until Cube is put to rest?

MegaDrive20XX

Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
So the other day, I was thinking of purchasing "Tomb Raider Legends" on GameCube. Since it's the first and only Tomb Raider game on the system in existances. I'm even having trouble trying to find it in the stores.

It dawned on me, Will the last few titles to be released on Cube be the hardest to find in the future?! *GASP*! Perhaps so, like most systems, this tragic fate happens to all who go under "The final days"...

GameCube, you poor little box, you were mistreated by the public, but respected by the die-hard fans...

I have heard there is 4 little titles left to be released...and one being Zelda TP..before she is put down like old yeller...

The cube died well before the Wii came out. And you say it was respected..but let's face it, it wasn't the best system ever. It had some cool games though.

To me... the Gamecube never had a life, the Ps2 and the Xbox just overshadowed it too much.

But I'm pretty sure an angry mob is gonna come after me for sayin that, but heh

He said it was respected by hardcore gamers, which I agree to a point. Im sure not all hardcore gamers respected it. And like you said, it had some fun games.

True, but with games like Ikaruga, Chaos Field, Resident Evil 4, MGS The Twin Snakes, Resident Evil remake, Baten Kaitos, Tales of Symphonia, etc. It's funny how PS2 rejected Ikaruga, but it landed on GameCube somehow. It was the only system to make Soul Calibur 2 worth owning back in 02', simply because of Link. Plus was the first Nintendo system to have the ability to play every Zelda game on 1 system (that includes adding on the GB Player).

Anyways, to sum that up, that's how many have seen the GameCube in the eyes of the faithful Nintendo fans. Sure it competed with the top dogs, but spawned off some great game squels and really shaped up Smash Bros what it is today.

I used to be a critic of the GC, but I'm definitely going to pick one up and start collecting games for it.

The gamecube will not be put to rest. As the nintendo 64, that was a fun system and will go down in video gaming history. The gamecube will always be in my memory though i have a Wii. The gamecube is the bomb, and you cannot deny it.

The cube put out some nice games...but it died a while ago for me. Especially since my Wii can play Cube games, there's no reason to have one anymore.

well... technically... it didn't die out then :lol

Yeah.. the console doesn't get any use for me either because I play all my games onthe Wii too. BUT Those games on the cube still get a lot of play... and to those who said the Gamecube only had a few games... give the Nintendo hate a rest :lol I'd say there are AT LEAST (the minimum) 50-60 good games, regardless if you don't like certain Genres.
