How's your summer going?

I popped a blood vessel trying to open a jar of pickles…trying to make a sandwich. Hurt so bad for an hour or so…couldn't even play a video game. :(

:P

Been trying to go see Captain America for the past two days…it is SO hard to get a ride around here. :(

My summer isn't going very well… But they never do, because summer is: Hot, annoying, buggy, and…yeah. :P
 
Officially now in Phoenix and am currently going through my first monsoon. Wicked light show. The heat has been pretty high but it's bearable. Once August hits though and I'm toast. But my Summer is going much better now that the moving is done.

That's exactly how the weather has been here in MN. Muggy and hot, with storms every other day, yet it just stays muggy and hot lol. My backyard feels like a freakin rain forest with all the bugs and frogs and huge green plants that weren't there last year.

I'll take that rain if you don't want it. We're dying out here.
 
It's going pretty summerish. The heat, the annoying kids out of school that flock to my restaurant, the increase of the electric bill due to the AC always being on, etc. You know, the usual summer amenities.
 
Job search failed.

Signed a six month lease to avoid extra fees at my apartment.

Found out the day after signing the lease that my boss had already posted my job as open to human resources.

At least I took a few days off around my birthday and drank rum from a coconut all pirate style!

Yay internets!

Let's see, summary of my summer.

-Applied for a crap ton of jobs across the country. I had one interview. I got no better job offer than my current position.

-While playing a lot of Starcraft II, Counter-Strike: Source, Sanctum, and Left 4 Dead 2, I managed to burn out the memory on my old 8800GT graphics card. I replaced it with a GTX460.

-I had a pirate party (girlfriend's idea), which resulted in me drinking rum from a coconut by the pool while hanging out with Mastermario, Deathmonkey, and Bluevoodu.

-I got to play guitar with BV, had some cookouts and LAN sessions with BV, Mastermario, SpartanEvolved, and SilliestGoose.
 
Well, my summer was sooo busy, cuz I had to move like about four times, but I am finally in my house now. I had my three kids for the summer too which was great. I got my bunny this summer finally and I feel bad for him cuz he is really hot cuz my house isn't air conditioned. I am trying to unpack and organize my house and make everything of mine and my husbands fit
