Hi All!

I take it you guys saw the news on TV about the Chimp they killed after it attacked that woman,I can't believe they killed that poor animal. In case any of you are thinking I'd feel differently if it was one of my loved ones who was attacked, that couldn't be further from the truth.

God placed these animals were they belong, what right have we to interfere?I hate zoo's with a passion as well.People say they are very well cared for, maybe so,but let me ask you this:Would you rather be sitting in a nice warm home playing video games, chowing down Doritos like chicken chow mein,or in a cage.I am certainly sorry for what happened to that poor woman, but wild animals are notoriously unpredictable, what does that tell you?

God Bless,
MR.KAZ

Actually, this chimp was in several commercials, and could make it's own meals, brush it's teeth, and several other daily life skills. He had this reaction to a pill he was taking to cure a disease in him. He stayed at the home of his caretaker's and had no intention of trying to "escape". :)

Are you kidding me? The thing was killing a human being. I'm sorry but humans are far far more important than animals. I just wish the situation would have never happened in the first place. People need to leave wild animals be wild.

That's the point I made in my post.

The chimp was going nuts cause of the drug that they were giving him and ripped this lady's face apart and almost killed her. What else were they to do?

Guys just clarify I don't think they had any other choice but to put the animal down. What I was trying get at in my previous post was it was to bad that the situtation was the sort that it was where people were keeping wild animals as house pet which is going often lead to serious injury or death of someone if you do it long enough.

Humans > Animals

That's just the way the chain works. If a monkey is running around, ripping people's faces off and causing all kinds of calamity, then the best thing is to just put a bullet in it's head because the lives of the people are far more important than some monkey.

Eh women asked for it don't try and domesticate a wild animal it is sad that they had to put the monkey down :(.

In my honest opinion though i see animals and humans as equals and i oddly know ill get flamed for that because you know being a different opinion from the majority and all.

Jack,that's cold.
If we as humans would just leave the animals in their natural habitat, like as God intended, these dire situations would not occur.Any person that handles a wild animal know the risk of a wild animal attacking them.Leave the animals alone in their natural environment.People know the risk they're taking by interacting with a wild animal.

I'm sorry that woman got attacked, but her and every other human are fully aware of what can happen when dealing with wild animals, and still they accept the risk.So don't make the chimp out to be the bad guy, these people made their choice and must accept responsibility for their decision.

It's not cold at all, it's reality. Sure, I feel bad for the chimp, but I feel 1000 times worse for the HUMAN being that got her face ripped off. She was completely innocent. But, I'm not saying I BLAME the chimp, no, I blame the idiot woman who was lonely and living in a fantasy world with this animal. I mean she basically treated it like a partner. Just another sad and pointless situation that should have never happened. This reminds of that idiot who thought he was a bear and got him and his woman eaten by a Grizzly, and in turn also got 2 bears killed. It was absolutely and utterly pointless. Leave wild animals the heck alone!

I couldn't agree more x2.

We as humans can be "Blockheads".I made this post a while back, and still there are people that insist on making pets out of wild animals.Dogs and Cats may be ok,but when you decide to try and make a pet out of a wild animal, you are "Pushing The Envelope".Even if you get this desired animal when it's a baby, that doesn't mean you have nothing to worry about.Yes,there are exceptions, but decade after decade there are VERY few success stories as opposed to failure in your efforts to domesticate wild animals.

Don't get me wrong,I'm without compassion for the people who get injured or sadly, killed by these animals when made to be there pets,I am just so sick and tired of hearing about these "Victims" who are so shocked that their "Pet" turned on them. These incidents have been going on for decades, even longer. What's it going to take for us to get the hint!

If you walk into a Casino and dropped $200 on roulette, you can't blame the Casino, you knew the risks of losing money before you walked through the door. It's the same with trying to make a wild animal your pet.You know that at anytime,if the animal decides for whatever reason attacks you,you can't sit there and cry about it.Once again,I do feel bad when a fellow human is injured or killed because their actions, but c'mon,I think God knows what he's doing with respect to animals and their role in this world..
